Noonsbrough

A reasonably well defined broch with some exterior wall still intact. Standing about 1-2 metres high.
Sitting right on the coast on a small promontory, this Broch enjoys splendid views east along the Voe of Clousta and towards the North Voe of Clousta. The broch itself is very close to a small group of properties and appears to have been some kind of freestanding dyke around part of its circumference - possibly a recent addition. At the time of visiting there was not much to see of the broch itself. What may be the remains of one or two cells could be discerned. Despite this, the panaromic views from the site are quite splendid.
