Hoga Ness

This is a large and distinctive site, with very deep ditching and high ramparts in concentric rings around the site's centre. Although the ramparts are not complete around the entire circumference, they are very impressive indeed.
Exposed courses of masonry are visible at several locations, with a possible door in the south.
The cliffs nearby are not particularly high at maybe 20 feet. There are two small geos right next to the broch.
