Register here to become a member of RockStanza.Info.

Why would I want to register?
Registration costs nothing and will enable you to post comments, photos, poems, fieldnotes etc. Anyone can register provided they adhere to our Terms and Conditions, basically to ensure that you don't post spam or offensive material.

What are the terms and conditions?
RockStanza.Info website is operated and owned by Ascent Software Ltd. (SC201671)

In using the site, you must accept that there may be errors present, despite the best intentions. Also, it may be that certain resources may move location or become unavailable in the future. Essentially you use the site 'as-is' and there is no guarantee of any service beyond that.

Should you choose to register with RockStanza.info you must understand a few points:

  1. Privacy - your name and email address will be required to register. This will be held by RockStanza.Info, operated by Ascent Software Ltd. and will be used to communicate with you regarding use of RockStanza.Info only. Your name will appear next to content you create. Your email address will not appear.
  2. Password - you are responsible for choosing a non-obvious password and keeping it to yourself. Anything posted in your name, using your password is your responsibility. If you are concerned your password may be compromised, you can request a new password be emailed to you.
  3. Spam - if you post any content deemed to be spam it will be removed. Such decisions to remove content are at the discretion of Ascent Software Ltd., or appointed moderators. Spammers will have their accounts deleted without warning.
  4. Offensive material - please avoid the use of profane language and obscenity. Such material will be removed (at the discretion of Ascent Software Ltd., or appointed moderators). Note that you may find some poetry or commentary offensive or objectionable (perhaps someone has a viewpoint you disagree with strongly)- you use RockStanza.Info at your own risk. Please notify site moderators about any content you find offensive or that you think ought to be removed.
  5. Content you create - you are solely responsible for any content that you create, transmit or display while using RockStanza.Info and you are solely responsible for the consequences of your actions! When posting content you should be satisfied that you are entitled to post that content, namely that you are the copyright holder or that the material is already published under licence compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License. You should be comfortable with the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, under which your content will be published, which gives certain freedoms to other users of your content. (If you are the copyright holder, the FDL doesn't stop you licensing your content in parallel licenses.

How do I register?
Register here. Please remember that you will need to wait for a site admin to enable your account (1 or 2 days).

How do I add photos and other content once I'm registered?
We have a rudimentary guide to adding images to a broch available at the moment. It's not great. If anyone would like to contribute some pages to go into an instruction book, please register and then email me (chrismc@rockstanza.info) requesting page creation access.

There are no instructions yet for adding poems or excursions, however be assured the process is simple and similar to many other websites where you can submit material. At the present time, nota bene that you cannot create photo galleries for your excursion, you will have to ask me to do that for you.
