A short and easy walk. Parking at the track on the east side of the road at Ward Hill, we set off east and then north-east, following the muddy track. Towards the track's end, it curves sharply right - at that point we left it and walked over to the ruins. Most of the buildings seemed like plantiecrubs. Ruins at AipletonPlantiecrub: Ruins at AipletonAny that could have been houses were in a very poor state at not more than one or two feet high. From Aipleton we walked east to the coast south of Vaakel Craigs and enjoyed some of the spectacular cliffs and geos around there.
