Scalla Field is one of the highest points in the vicinity, so the views are good. We set off from the road end at Upper Kergord and after one hour at a leisurely pace arrived at the trig point.

Driving up Collafirth to start the walk was difficult, the car just managed to clear the steepest part of the road due to a couple of inches of snow lying.
